Leadership facilitation volunteering
Khashayar has repeatedly volunteered as an instructional facilitator for a six-day course titled “Being A Leader and The Effective Exercise of Leadership: An Ontological / Phenomenological Model,” delivered at Alibaba Travels Co. He facilitated this course in February 2019 and again in August 2020. In September 2018 he conducted a related three-day leadership course at Arshia Olive, a company that exclusively employs individuals with criminal convictions, aimed at empowering 30 personnel to overcome life’s challenges while working in the factory under the company’s support. In February 2017 he also volunteered as a Startup Weekend mentor at Bushehr University of Medical Sciences, attending as a product coach and helping teams discover the value proposition of their products.
